Dr. Louis J. Feldman

Dear Patient and Friend:

My name is Louis Feldman. I am a general dentist.  But I am also your neighbor, and so I thought it appropriate to share with you not only my credentials as a dentist, but also my interests outside of dentistry.  I hope that, in this way, you can develop a sufficient ‘feel’ for the type of person I am, that you will agree to visit us and see if ours is the practice for you.

I have the good fortune of living in Cape May and being able to help numerous vacationers with emergent dental concerns.  In my spare time I enjoy playing saxophone with the South Jersey Area Wind Ensemble and the John Walter Cape Community Band.  I'm committed to both physical fitness and spiritual enlightenment.

I am a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, which means I have a commitment to a lifetime of continuing education.  I am proficient in all phases of general dentistry, including restorative dentistry, endodontics, root canal, periodontics (gum  treatment), prosthodontics (crowns/bridges and dentures), oral surgery (removal of teeth) and cosmetic dentistry.

I have 21 years of clinical experience and have been chosen as a clinical advisor for The Dental Advisor.  The mission of the Dental Advisor is to provide the profession with evidence-based and clinically relevant information on dental products and equipment.  I am responsible for evaluating new products and techniques to facilitate the practice of dentistry.

I am also actively involved in the local dental society and am currently a Delegate of the New Jersey Dental Association.  I have a highly trained professional staff who support me in successfully completing even the most challenging cases.

I love my job because it permits me to interact with many wonderful people each day and to use my abilities to improve their well-being.

Welcome to our practice!

Sincerely,

Louis J. Feldman, DDS

Hello! I have been working with Dr. Feldman since 2001. I am a Certified Dental Assistant with an x-ray license in the State of New Jersey. I will more than likely be present in the operatory during your treatment and I will probably be the one to take your x-rays. (Don’t worry, I am very gentle!) My favorite part of my job is hearing so many patients commend Doctor Feldman and his staff for a “job well done”. On a personal note, I am the only Dallas Cowboy fan in the office (let’s face it, every office has one). Football season is always exciting here; I am surrounded by a bunch of crazy Eagles and Giants fans! I am also a huge Philadelphia Phillies fan. I used to have season tickets, but my busy summer schedule no longer allows for such indulgences, so I have to settle for watching them on television. Hope to meet you soon. GO COWBOYS!!! GO PHILLIES!!!

Hola! I am a native of Puerto Rico and live my life in a jumble of the Spanish and English culture. I spent half my life in my homeland before moving to Miami and then to Cape May. This is due to the fact that my father is in the Coast Guard. I am a proud coastie dependent and also a supporter of the Marines – on behalf of my boyfriend who started boot camp this year. I am a through and through military fan. USA USA USA !!! I was drawn to work for Dr. Feldman because of the professional yet fun atmosphere exhibited amongst the staff. On a more recreational note, I am a New York Giants fan and have been since I saw my first televised game. Vegan a vernos pronto! (Come see us soon!)

Hello! In April, 1996 I made glorious Cape May my home. Being a native South Jersey Girl I knew some day I would move close to the shore. Living and working in New York City after graduating CSI (CUNY) with my BS for Theater in 1989 became a bit routine for me. I went to an open call in Atlantic City for Elaines Famous Dinner Theater and got the job. I started working at Elaines and was a patient of Doctor Feldman. Well it did not take long before Louis and I found out that we were meant to be together. Funny we were both living in the City during the 80’s but found each other in the 90’s in Cape May; the most beautiful place on earth. I love running the practice. It provides me with the satisfaction of knowing that my family is really helping the community in many ways. My husband is an excellent dentist who expects the best from his staff and from himself. I am confident and proud of the services we provide. My favorite part of the day is transporting patients to and from their dental appointments. You can often find us stopping at McDonalds for a quick snack. I love working with the people here; we are a great team, each member is extremely competent in their positions. We all really care about the work we do. I invite you to come meet the Doctor, the staff and take a tour of our office. You will like what you see. We are serious about your health and will work with you in a pleasant atmosphere so you can receive the dental care you deserve. Oh and by the way – GO EAGLES.

I am the first smiling face you see when you come in the office and the last one you see when you leave. I am the voice that answers the phone and schedules your appointments. I send you fun cards and reminder letters when you need to come visit us. I root for the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies and Flyers. (And I know the Phillies are going to lead us to another World Series Championship this year!) I have lived in Cape May County for most of my life but I am originally from South Philly. My favorite pizza comes from Sam’s on the Wildwood Boardwalk and my favorite Philly food is the cheesesteak. I have 3 dogs that I adore. I enjoy singing as well as dancing. In the spring and fall, I also enjoy being a DJ for the senior citizens trips that come to the shore. The thing I treasure most about my job is … MY PATIENTS!
